Designed to combat the heat build up problems associated with transaxle cars.

Racing, particularly in longer races, creates problems for transaxle Alfa Romeos. Heat generated by inboard brakes as well as by the box itself, over heating can be a problem.

CSR can provide cooler kits including pump, harness, pipes and coolers. These can be switched on by a sensor or manually.

The SZ Alfa Romeo had a gearbox oil cooler so even some road cars, especially long distance tours, can benefit from controlling the gearbox temperature.
